Use Firefish to arrange Recruiter and Employer Interviews

Learn how to arrange both Recruiter and Employer interviews directly within the Firefish job workflow, including setting up multiple interviews, sending confirmation emails, and attaching interview guides.

Arrange an Interview 

To arrange an Employer or Recruiter interview:

  1. Go to the job workflow in one of the following stages:

    • Considering

    • Recruiter Interview

    • CV Sent (Employer interviews only)

  2. Select one or more candidates.

  3. Click either the Employer Interview or Recruiter Interview button.

4. On the Interview Details screen:

  • Choose the interview Stage (e.g., 1st Interview, 2nd Interview).

  • Choose the interview Type (e.g., Face to Face, Video).

  • Fill in all interview details.

For Recruiter Interviews, your user details will auto-populate the contact info.

For Employer Interviews, the contact assigned to the job is auto-filled. You can click Edit to:

  • Change the contact to another person at the company, or

  • Select a contact from an associated company.

Multiple interviews

When arranging interviews for multiple candidates:

  • Click each candidate on the left-hand list to enter unique details.

  • Or click Copy to All to apply the same details to all, then update dates/times individually.

To change the interview address, click Edit and enter a new location if it differs from the company address.

Once all interview details are completed, click Confirm.

Emails

After confirming, you will have the option to send interview confirmation emails to candidates and contacts. Click Send Email or Skip Email as required.

Interview Guide

If you have added an Interview Guide document to your system Document Library you will see it automatically attached to the email here. Clicking the document will also allow you to preview it before it is sent.

 


Arrange a further interview

To arrange a second-stage (or further) interview:

  1. Select the candidate again.

  2. Click Arrange Interview.

  3. Complete the interview details following the same process as before.

Edit an existing interview

To make changes to an already scheduled interview:

  1. Click the Edit button next to the relevant candidate.

  2. Update the interview details as required.

  3. Choose whether to send updated confirmation emails.
