The Ringover integration allows you to make and receive calls directly from Firefish through the Ringover Chrome extension. All calls are automatically logged against the relevant candidate or contact record, helping you to keep your CRM up to date without lifting a finger.
With this integration, you can:
- Click to dial numbers stored in Firefish using Ringover.
- Automatically log outbound and inbound calls against candidate and contact records.
- Log SMS and WhatsApp messages sent using Ringover inside Firefish.
- Get AI-generated call summaries and transcripts from Ringover in Firefish.
How to set up the Ringover integration
Before you begin, you’ll need an active Ringover account with API access and the Ringover Chrome extension installed.
Step 1: Connect your Ringover account to Firefish
- Log in to Firefish as a system administrator.
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Ringover.
- Select Enable Integration and copy the Client ID and Client Secret. Click Save to confirm.
- Log in to your Ringover Dashboard and navigate to Store>Integrations>Firefish Software
- Enter the URL of your Firefish site, the Client ID, Client Secret and set the Profile name to Ringover. Click Activate
Your Firefish account is now linked to Ringover.
Step 2: Install the Ringover Chrome extension
- Open the Ringover Chrome extension page.
- Select Add to Chrome.
- Once installed, log in to the extension using your Ringover account details.
This extension powers the click-to-call functionality inside Firefish.
How the integration works
Once setup is complete, you’ll be able to make and receive calls seamlessly from within Firefish.
Making outbound calls
- Navigate to a candidate or contact record in Firefish.
- Hover over their stored phone number – the Ringover extension will recognise it automatically.
- Click the number to initiate a call in Ringover.
- When the call connects, you’ll see the Ringover dialler appear.
Once you hang up, Firefish will log the call against the candidate or contact record.
Additional features (via Ringover):
- AI Summary: A short, machine-generated summary of the conversation.
- Transcription: A full written record of the call for accuracy.
- Recording: The audio file of the call, accessible directly in Ringover.
Receiving inbound calls
- When a candidate or contact calls your Ringover number, the Ringover dialler will automatically pop up on screen.
- The extension will detect the caller’s number and show you the option to open their Firefish record.
- Click the link to open the candidate or contact record in Firefish.
- Answer the call in Ringover and conduct your conversation as usual.
When the call ends, Firefish will log the call activity and any notes you add against the relevant record.
