How to set up your integration with Quil.

Quil is an AI-powered platform designed to streamline note-taking and transcription processes. It automatically generates detailed, accurate notes from your calls and meetings, which can be seamlessly synced into Firefish CRM.
This integration empowers you to save time on manual data entry, ensuring all your transcribed notes are matched to the correct records based on email addresses and phone numbers.
Enabling the Quil Integration
To activate the Quil integration, you’ll need an active Quil account. If you don’t already have one, you can create a Quil account here.
Once you have an account, follow these steps to enable the integration in Firefish:
- Ask your Firefish super user to navigate to the Settings Cog in Firefish CRM and choose Integrations -> Automation.
- In the section labelled Quil, click the Enable button.
Retrieving the Client ID and Client Secret
After enabling the integration on your Primary Site, a Client ID and Client Secret will appear in the side panel. You can reopen this panel at any time by clicking on the Quil integration in the settings.
Connecting Firefish to Quil
- In your Quil account, navigate to Integration Settings, locate the Firefish icon, and click Connect.
- Copy and paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the appropriate fields in Quil’s settings.
- Once connected, you can configure your integration preferences in Quil by clicking Configure
- Use the Meeting Types menu in Quil to determine which call types will be created in Firefish by the Quil Integration
Syncing Transcriptions Between Firefish and Quil
Once connected, Quil will automatically pass transcriptions and notes into Firefish CRM. Here’s how the syncing process works:
- Automatic Record Matching: Quil will use email addresses and phone numbers to match transcriptions with the correct candidates or contacts in Firefish.
Syncing typically occurs in real-time, and single records are updated within seconds. If syncing multiple or large transcriptions, the process may take slightly longer.
Managing Updates Between Platforms
This integration is maintained by Quil, who push notes and updates from their platform directly into Firefish, after requesting and retrieving Firefish data. For support on this integration, please in the first instance contact their support team at support@quil.ai
Enterprise Customers
The Quil integration in Firefish is managed from your Primary site, and once enabled will apply to all your active secondary sites as well.
Using Quil once your integration is active
Each user will install the Quil extension on their browsers You can access the download here.
To make a call from a candidate or client record, click the chrome extension and Quil will dial the number on the record. If there are multiple numbers saved too the record you will be presented with them to choose from.
To initiate the call hit the number on the chrome extension.
Before or during the call select the appropriate call type from the call types that have been set up in Quil as part of your onboarding.
Once you complete the call Quil will immediately start work on processing the notes .
The call notes will be copied directly onto the client or candidate record within Firefish from which the call was initiated.
Call notes can be edited via Quil but not within Firefish.
