Use an existing job record to create a similar job, create an advert linked to the job, close the job, and add a note
Clicking the "More Actions" Tab on the job record brings up a number of additional actions you can carry out within the Jobs page:
Create Advert
To create an advert from a Job, after clicking on More Actions as above, select Create Advert as shown below:
The relevant job details will automatically be copied over from the job to the advert. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, then click Post to publish your advert.
Add a Note
If you wish to add a note to the job record, you can select More Actions then Notes.
You can then type out your note. If you plan to follow up on the note, you can set the date and time for this here.
The note will populate in the Recent Activity section at the bottom of the Summary tab.
Create Similar
The Create Similar function is really helpful if you have worked on a job in the past and you're looking to work on a similar role once again - this saves you the hassle of retyping all the job details again!
After clicking More Actions as above, select the Create Similar option as shown below:
This will then pull through the job details and bring you to the Job Summary page. If any details need to change on this page, you can do so through the Job Summary page.
If the start date is different or the salary has changed then you can update these details here.
Close Job
If you need to close a job, you can do so by clicking on More Actions on the Job Record again then selecting Close Job:
After clicking this, a pop-up will appear on your screen to confirm that you want to proceed with this action. The pop-up will also inform you that any candidates currently in the job workflow will no longer be considered.
After you have pressed "Confirm", the system will then ask you for a reason.
