Ringover Integration (Basic/Professional/Enterprise)

What’s the update: Ringover added to Automation settings with generated Client ID/Secret.
Benefit: Simple, self-serve setup to connect Firefish with Ringover.
What’s new: Generate credentials in-app and link your Ringover profile to Firefish.

Law Gazette Job Board – Product Types (Basic/Professional/Enterprise)

What’s the update: Product type is now required on Law Gazette job board profiles; support for multiple profiles with different products.
Benefit: Sends the correct posting type per advert without manual edits, reducing errors.
What’s new: Mandatory product selection + ability to create multiple Law Gazette profiles by product.

Compliance – Pay Details (Basic/Professional/Enterprise)

What’s the update: All four bank fields must be completed to save in Candidate/Recruiter portals; compliance not complete until all four provided.
Benefit: Stronger data integrity and clearer compliance status.
What’s new: Save-blocking until all fields filled (portals), warning bar for partial details, Pay tab allows partial entry but marks compliance incomplete.

Country Support – Greece (Basic/Professional/Enterprise)

What’s the update: Greece added to System Configuration “Country” dropdown and to Indeed country selectors.
Benefit: Enables Greek market configuration and Indeed posting defaults.
What’s new: Select Greece in System settings, Indeed defaults, and per-advert “Indeed Country.”

Pay & Bill – Small Improvements (All)

What’s the update: New Payroll ID field, supplier data safeguards, enforceable pay-details-on-offer, and pay-type defaults.
Benefit: Cleaner payroll data, better compliance, fewer offer errors, smoother integrations.
What’s new:

  • Payroll ID field (System Configuration → Properties) exposed to third parties via API.

  • Supplier management: minimum required info + soft locks on Pay Details.

  • Require Pay Details on Offer setting (Job Configuration → Contract Workflow → Offers).

  • Pay Type default: candidate defaults to job’s pay type on contract offer if unset.

Leads Improvements (Basic/Professional/Enterprise)

What’s the update: Added Estimated Value and Notes to Leads (Notes required when Disqualified). Estimated Value available as a reporting column.
Benefit: Better pipeline forecasting and context for qualification/disqualification.
What’s new: New fields on Leads + reporting column for Estimated Value.


CRM

Additional Sales – Permanent Jobs (Basic/Professional/Enterprise)

What’s the update: Clearer actions in the Additional Sales modal: Save vs Save & Send; both disabled until changes are made.
Benefit: Prevents accidental “Request to Charge” emails and clarifies intent.
What’s new: Distinct buttons and state control before sending charge requests.

Candidate Tags – Setting (Basic/Professional/Enterprise)

What’s the update: New setting in People Configuration → Candidate Settings → Marketing to manage Tags.
Benefit: Control over taxonomy and usage—tailor to your workflow and enforce consistency.
What’s new: Enable/disable the Tags field, rename it, and make it mandatory.


 

Integrations

Ringover Integration

Ringover integration has been added to the “Automation” settings page. The integration will generate a Client ID and Secret for our customers to connect Firefish to their Ringover profile.

Law Gazette Job Board Settings Improvement

Version(s): Basic/Professional/Enterprise

Users will now be required to set up a product type on their job board settings for Law Gazette. The value selected will determine what type of job posting is being sent for all adverts that use the job board profile.

Users can create multiple Law Gazette Job Board profiles with different job posting products set up to aid in sending the correct advert with the correct product, rather than changing the same job board profile each time.

Compliance Pay Details Improvements

We’ve made an update to how bank details are stored across both the Candidate and Recruiter portals. 

Candidates will now be required to complete all four bank detail fields before their details can be saved in their portal. 

Within the Recruiter Portal, candidate profiles will also need to contain all four bank details before they can be saved.

In the Pay tab of a job’s Compliance side panel, it will still be possible to enter fewer than four bank details. However, candidate compliance will not be marked as complete until all four fields have been provided. 

We have added a helpful warning bar when there are partially missing bank details. The warning will not appear if none or if all bank details are provided. 

Greece Added to Indeed and System Configuration Country Dropdown

We’ve added Greece to the list of countries that are selectable within the “Country” dropdown found within the System Configuration settings page.

Clients who have Indeed enabled will also be able to select Greece within the Indeed settings > Default Country dropdown or “Indeed Country” dropdown on an advert.

Introduction of Tags Setting

We have introduced a new Tags setting within the Candidate Settings page in People Configuration.

The setting sits within the Marketing section and will allow users to enable or disable the tags field found on the candidate profile.

Users can rename the tag field as well as make the field mandatory to fully customise the users’ experience.

Pay & Bill Small Improvements

Payroll ID Field: a new generic Payroll ID field can be enabled from System Configuration ->  Properties that displays on the Candidate’s Pay Details field.
This field can be used by third parties over the API that need to collect Payroll Numbers.

Supplier Management: We have made a couple of small improvements to supplier management to improve data integrity, including making a minimum amount of information mandatory when adding a new supplier,
and providing protective ‘soft locks’ on the Pay Details tab when selecting suppliers.

Mandatory Pay Details setting: A new setting in Job Configuration -> Contract Workflow -> Offers called “Require Pay Details on Offer” can be enabled by super users to enforce a minimum level of pay information when offering a contract candidate.
When enabled, candidates will not be considered compliant until the Pay Details tab has been completed in full.

Pay Type defaults for Candidates: When a candidate is offered a contract job, their Pay Type will now default to match the associated job’s pay type if it hasn’t already been set.

Leads Improvements

Two new fields have been added to the Leads feature:

  • Estimated Value: You can now record the estimated value of a lead, which is also available as a reporting column.
  • Notes: A notes field has been added for any extra information that is relevant to the lead. This is an optional field, unless the lead is marked as Disqualified

Additional Sales

We’ve updated the buttons in the Additional Sales modal on permanent jobs to make it clearer what each option does. 

  • ‘Save’ will save changes without sending the Request to Charge email. 
  • ‘Save & Send’ will save changes and open the Request to Charge email modal. 

Both buttons are now greyed out until a change is made, making it easier to control when the charge request emails are sent.
