Resetting a user’s password in Firefish is quick and easy. Whether you’re a Super User or the user themselves, here’s how to get it done:
For Users
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can use the self-service option:
- Go to the login page and click Forgotten Password.
- Enter your email address, click Submit.
- A temporary password will be sent to you, allowing you to log in and create a new password.
For Super Users
Super Users can quickly and easily reset any user’s password without contacting support. Follow these steps:
-
Access User Management
Navigate to Settings > User Management > Users, where you’ll find a list of active users. -
Find the User
Locate the user whose password you want to reset. Under the Actions column, click the cog icon and select Reset Password. -
Reset the Password
A side panel will appear displaying the reset password email options.
Send Email: Sends the temporary password directly to the user.
Skip Email: Allows you to share the temporary password manually.
✏️Note: you must Skip or Send the password before it will become active
❗Important: If you skip the email, make sure to note the temporary password, as it won’t be shown again
