Here's what we released in March

Highlights

Here are the key highlights from the March Product Releases:

  • 📅 Candidate reordering in the Availability Calendar – Users can now drag and drop candidates into their preferred order directly within the Availability Pool Calendar View.
  • 💾 Changes save automatically – Candidate ordering updates instantly, requires no page refresh and is visible to all users.
  • 🔄 Calendar and List views stay in sync – Any order set in the Calendar View will also be reflected in the List View. Reordering itself is currently only available from the Calendar View.
  • 🌐 Coral website job cards updated – Job Cards and Featured Job Cards on the Coral template will now display the job’s Role where one has been added.
  • 🧹 Cleaner fallback behaviour – Where no Role is populated, the Discipline will continue to show. If neither is present, the line will be hidden entirely

Job Workflows

Candidate Reordering in the Availability Calendar

Available on: Basic | Professional | Enterprise

Users can now reorder candidates directly within the Availability Pool Calendar View.

Candidates can be moved into the preferred order using drag and drop, making it easier to prioritise candidates when managing availability.

Key behaviour:

  • Candidate order can be adjusted by dragging and dropping within the Calendar View

  • Changes save automatically

  • Updates are visible to all users

  • The order will sync between the Calendar and List views

  • No page refresh is required

Note: Candidate reordering is currently supported only within the Calendar View. Reordering from the List View is not available at this time.

Candidate Status

We’ve made a small but useful improvement to how candidate shift statuses are displayed across Availability Pools and the Availability Calendar within the candidate record and portal.

Previously, a candidate’s portrait was shown when they were dragged onto a shift, with a coloured outline indicating their status. We’ve now replaced the portrait with a larger status indicator, making it much easier to quickly see a candidate’s shift status at a glance.

We’ve also updated the hover tooltip, so it now shows the candidate’s status instead of their reference number. 

Websites

Job Card Update – Coral Template

Available on: Basic | Professional | Enterprise

We’ve introduced a small improvement to Job Cards and Featured Job Cards on the Coral website template.

Where a Role is populated on a job advert, this will now be displayed directly on the job card.

Behaviour:

  • If a Role is present on the advert, it will display on the job card

  • If no Role is populated, the Discipline will continue to display

  • If neither Role nor Discipline are present, this line will be hidden

This update helps ensure job cards display the most relevant information while maintaining a clean layout.

Settings

There are some menu and field changes to note:

  • Enhanced Postcode Lookup and Multicurrency features are now available for all Clients (disabled by default where not already enabled)
  • Web Registration settings are now located within Settings > Candidate Portal. The “Show Register Button” has also been moved here from its original location in Website > Web Settings>Branding
  • Advert Configuration settings have all been moved into Website > Jobs Plugin and the Advert Configuration menu item has been removed
  • News Plugin has been removed from Subscriptions and Renewals (it remains active and present for Clients that currently have access to it)
