Learn five simple ways to add candidates to Firefish. From uploading CVs to manual entry or integrations, this guide ensures accurate, efficient data entry tailored to your workflow.
Manual Registration
Choose the Add Person icon in the top right whilst on any page within the system, then Candidate from the menu that appears:

Input the name, phone number and/or email address of the candidate:
If the system can find a match for the details you've entered, they'll show at the bottom of the side panel - you can choose to update an existing record if you find a correct match:
Otherwise, select New Candidate at the bottom:
You can then complete the new candidate registration form:
Any mandatory fields will be highlighted in red, just like in the picture above.
Super Users can customise this form by choosing 'Edit this Form' at the top of the side panel.
When you've completed all the mandatory fields, you can click Confirm at the bottom. You will then be taken to the new candidate record.
Email Add-in
The Firefish email add-in for Outlook allows you to upload emails you have received into Firefish as well as create new contacts and candidates. You can also automatically log all of your responses to your candidates and contacts directly from Outlook.

Chrome Sourcing Extension
The Firefish Chrome Sourcing Extension allows you to seamlessly create and update candidate and contact records in your Firefish database. The extension works by reading a person's details and then automatically populating the fields with relevant information.

Website Registration
Candidates can register to your database via your Firefish Website by using the Register button within the header.
Upon selecting the register button the candidate will be taken to the registration form. You can customise what questions are asked at the point of registration through your **Candidate Registration Forms(link to be added)**.
Advert Registration
When a candidate applies to an advert on your Firefish Website if they don't already have a record associated to the email address they are applying with then a new record will be created.
Candidate can apply/register via an advert by hitting the apply button on the Advert Details page of your website.
Upon selecting the apply button the candidate will be taken to the advert application form. You can customise what questions are asked at this point through your **Candidate Registration Forms(link to be added)**.
