Why Are the Application Numbers on Job Board and Firefish Different?

Sometimes you may notice discrepancies in the numbers between the applications you have on a job board and that have came into Firefish if you are using the Direct Apply URL functionality as part of your Job Board Integrations.

In some instances, you may have more applications to an advert on the job board website than you do within Firefish. We believe this is due to job boards trying to capture candidate data before they are redirected to your site.

Most job boards will make candidates sign in or complete a shortened application form before the redirection, which registers an application with the job board. Once the candidate is redirected, they will be prompted to apply on your site and this can be frustrating for candidates who have to complete two application forms to apply for one job.
