March Product Release

Here's what we've released in March.

CRM

Authorisation Settings

Version(s): Enterprise

We’ve updated the Authorisation settings for both job workflows to ensure all selected users receive To Do list reminders.

Previously:

  • The primary user received a to-do list item when action was needed.
  • All selected users received an email notification, but only the primary user got the to-do list item.

Now:

  • All selected users (both primary and secondary) will receive both the to-do list item and the email notification.

This applies to authorisation settings across both the Permanent and Contract Workflow, including:

  • Permanent: Authorisation on Agreed Terms, Credit Details, Offer, and Termination
  • Contract: Authorisation on Job, Offer, Extension, and Termination

Contacts no longer archived when linked Candidate is deleted

Version(s): Basic/Professional/Enterprise

We’ve updated how Candidate and Contact records behave when a candidate is deleted to prevent unintended archiving of contacts.

 Previously:

  • If a person was both a Candidate and a Contact, deleting the Candidate record would automatically archive the Contact record
  • This could cause confusion as there was no clear record of why the Contact had been archived. An investigation was raised about this, which prompted us re-thinking this workflow.

Now:

  • Deleting a Candidate will no longer archive the associated Contact.
  • The Contact record will remain active unless manually archived.

This change ensures Contacts are only archived when intended.

We’ll be making some further improvements around deleted candidates in the coming weeks.

Placement API Improvement

Version(s): Basic/Professional/Enterprise

We have made an improvement to our Placement Search endpoint where we are now including the “Supplier” field from the Candidate “Pay” tab.

The "Supplier" field enables pay & bill partners to identify placements intended for their platform.

Reports Dashboard Improvements

Version(s): Basic/Professional/Enterprise

We’ve added new columns to the predicted sales dataset, updated the start and end dates for placements, and made some adjustments to the actual sales data set:

New fields added

  • Pay Type (Projected Contract Sales)
  • Supplier (Projected Contract Sales)
  • Charge Rate (Sales Details)

Changes to existing fields

  • Start Date, End Date (Projected Contract Sales) – now for the full placement duration, not just a placement part
  • Pay Rate (Sales Details) – previously called Agreed Rate
  • Timesheets (Actual Contract Sales) – previously called Time Capture Status. Now displays as a coloured lozenge

This column will only appear in the selector if Credit Limit is enabled in Properties on either the Company or Job record.

Update to Placement Email actions in Recent Activity

Version(s): Basic/Professional/Enterprise

Previously, when a placement was made and the Placement Owner setting was set to be the Job Owner, all placement-related activity—including system-generated emails—was attributed to the Job Owner in Recent Activity, even if a different user completed the action.

We’ve updated this to provide better clarity:

  • Placement activity will still be attributed to the Job Owner (as expected).
  • However, any emails sent during the placement process will now show as sent by the actual user who triggered the emails, not the Job Owner.
